How to Get Your Google Review Link or QR Code

Google reviews are one of the simplest ways to help potential customers feel more confident about calling, booking, visiting, or buying from your business.
But there is one small problem.
Most happy customers will not go hunting for your Google Business Profile on their own.
That is why your review link or QR code matters. It gives people a direct path to leave a review while the experience is still fresh.

First, How to Go to Your Google Business Profile
Before you can grab your review link or QR code, you need to open your Google Business Profile.
The easiest way is to make sure you are signed into the Google account that manages your business profile, then go to Google Search and search for your business name.
You can also search:
my business
If you are signed into the correct account, Google should show your Business Profile management panel directly in the search results. From there, you can edit your profile, view reviews, add photos, create posts, and find your review link.
You can also get there through Google Maps by searching for your business name while signed into the account that manages the profile.
If you do not see the management options, you may be signed into the wrong Google account, or you may not have access to manage the profile yet.
Where to Find Your Google Review Link
Once you are in your Google Business Profile management area, you can get your review link.
To find it:
Go to your Google Business Profile from a browser.
Select Ask for reviews from the second row.
Copy the review link.
Share it with customers in a thank-you email, follow-up text, invoice, receipt, or post-appointment message.
This link takes customers directly to the place where they can leave a review for your business.

How to Get Your Google Review QR Code
Google also allows you to create a QR code for reviews from your Business Profile.
To get it:
Open your Google Business Profile on a computer.
Select Ask for reviews from the second row.
Use the QR code option.
Save or download the QR code so you can add it to printed or digital materials.
This is especially helpful for businesses that see customers in person. You can place the QR code at your front desk, on a checkout sign, in a thank-you card, or on printed leave-behinds.

Where to Use Your Review Link or QR Code
You can use your review link or QR code in places where it feels natural, such as:
Thank-you emails
Your Email signature
Follow-up texts
Receipts or invoices
Appointment follow-ups
Printed cards
Front desk signage
Post-service messages
Customer chat follow-ups
The goal is not to pressure people. The goal is to make it easy for real customers to share honest feedback.
A Quick Note About Asking for Reviews
Do not offer discounts, gifts, free services, or rewards in exchange for Google reviews.
Google wants reviews to reflect real customer experiences. You can ask for a review, but you should not tell people what to say, ask them to use specific keywords, or only ask happy customers.
A simple message works best:
“Thank you for working with us. If you had a good experience, we would appreciate an honest Google review. It helps other local customers find us.”
That is it. Simple, clear, and easy.
Why This Matters for Local Businesses
Your Google Business Profile is often one of the first things people see when they search for your business or compare local options.
Reviews help people understand what it is like to work with you. They can also support your local visibility, especially when your profile is active, accurate, and regularly maintained.
A review link or QR code will not magically fix your local SEO, but it does remove friction. And removing friction is a very good place to start.
